Dr. Leon Kendrick is a lifelong educator, minister, musician, and community leader dedicated to empowering young people through education, mentorship, and the arts. For decades, Dr. Kendrick has invested in the spiritual, intellectual, and creative development of youth in Northwest Indiana and beyond.
Through his leadership in education, ministry, and community outreach, he has mentored countless students, musicians, and performers, encouraging them to discover their gifts and use them for positive impact. Dr. Kendrick believes that the arts are a powerful vehicle for building confidence, discipline, creativity, and leadership in young people.
Leon Kendrick Youth Voices United was founded from this vision to create a space where youth can grow, express themselves, and develop their talents in a supportive and inspiring creative environment.

Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment where students can explore their creativity, develop artistic skills, and build confidence through music, dance, theater, and visual arts.
Through mentorship and performance opportunities, we help young people grow as artists, leaders, and contributors to their communities.
